What is a waiting period?
After a policy starts, some conditions are covered only after a set period. The length depends on the policy.
What is a deductible?
The part of a claim that you pay yourself. The insurer pays the rest.
How does a cashless claim work?
At a network hospital, the insurer pays the hospital directly. You need to get approval first.
When should I renew my policy?
Before it expires. A delay can interrupt your cover and reduce benefits such as the no-claim bonus.

Premium refunds
If you cancel a policy, any refund depends on the terms in your policy document and the insurer’s rules, including the free-look period mentioned there. Refunds are paid by the insurer, not by PolicyMart.
